About
StudioKanna is a Tokyo based graphic design studio specialised
in corporate identity and print design.
Kanna moved to England in 1995 and graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design
from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. She worked as an editorial designer
at British style magazine "Dazed and Confused", then joined the design studio North,
famous for corporate identity work. She returned to Japan in late 2006 and set up her
own studio in Tokyo. Since then, her approach is based on finding simple but meaningful
solutions for communication needs.
She is also interested in pursuing self-initiated projects,
collaborating with others, organizing exhibitions, and pursuing design solutions for
regional development with local communities.
